Elijah The Prophet - pt. 1
In the Old Testament book of I Kings 17th thru 19th chapter, God used the prophet Elijah to work miracles, and to confront the wicked king Ahab and his wife Jezebel to repent of their idolatrous leadership of Israel.
Elijah prophesied to wicked king Ahab that there would be no rain in Israel and God held back the rain for 3 1/2 years.
God used Elijah to challenge the 450 prophets of Baal and call the nation of Israel to choose between serving the true God or the false god Baal.
Elijah demonstrated God’s mighty power for Israel by building an altar and sacrificing an ox to God. He prayed and asked God to send down fire from heaven to burn up the sacrifice and God did it.
After the mighty display of God's power, the people bowed down and worshiped the Lord God of Elijah. Elijah ordered the 450 prophets of Baal to be slain.
When Elijah had completed his ministry God sent a "fiery chariot" and Elijah was taken to heaven in a "whirlwind" without seeing death. (II Kings 2nd chapter)
According to google,
"In the Bible, Baal was the supreme Canaanite fertility and storm god worshipped throughout ancient Phoenicia and Canaan. "Baal" means "lord" or "owner," and worshippers believed he caused rain and crop growth. He was the primary rival to Yahweh in the Old Testament, with worship often including sexual rites and sacrifices."
Key Aspects of Baal in the Bible:
"A "False God" or Idol: The Bible depicts Baal as a false deity that the Israelites were forbidden to worship, though they frequently adopted his worship from surrounding nations, such as in Judges 3:7."
Elijah The Prophet - pt.2
He called his nation to choose which god they were going to serve.
1 Kings 18:21 AMP
"Elijah approached all the people and said, 'How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.' But the people [of Israel] did not answer him [so much as] a word."
Deuteronomy 6:14-15 (Amplified Bible)
"You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you, for the Lord your God who is among you is a jealous (impassioned) God [demanding what is rightfully and uniquely His]—otherwise the anger of the Lord your God will be kindled and burn against you, and He will destroy you from the face of the earth."
Judges 10:6 (Amplified Bible)
"Then the Israelites again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; they served the Baals, the Ashtaroth (female deities), the gods of Aram (Syria), the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites, and the gods of the Philistines. They abandoned the Lord and did not serve Him."
Malachi's Prophecy
Malachi 4:4-6 (Amplified Bible)
“Remember [with thoughtful concern] the Law of Moses My servant, the statutes and the ordinances which I commanded him on [Mount] Horeb [to give] to all Israel.
Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].”
According to google AI:
"Based on biblical chronology, roughly 400 to 500 years passed between the ministry of Elijah and the prophecy of Malachi. Elijah was taken to heaven around 850 B.C. during the reign of King Ahab, while Malachi, the last Old Testament prophet, began his ministry around 430–400 B.C. following the Babylonian captivity."
So, when did God send Elijah back to the earth to fulfill Malachi's prophecy? Jesus gave the answer:
Matthew 17:10-13 (Amplified Bible)
"The disciples asked Him, 'Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?'
He answered and said, 'Elijah is coming and will restore all things;
but I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not recognize him, but did to him as they wished. The Son of Man is also going to suffer at their hands.”
Then the disciples understood that He had spoken to them about John the Baptist."
When Jesus said "Elijah has come already" He was referring to the ministry of John the Baptist. God sent John to call Israel to repent of their sins and get ready for the first coming of Jesus Christ.
However, we should understand and recognize that Jesus also said, "Elijah is coming and will restore all things." Will God send the spirit and the anointing of Elijah back to the earth again before the second coming of Jesus Christ?
The Latter Rain
James 5:7 AMP
"So wait patiently, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits [expectantly] for the precious harvest from the land, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains.
James 5:8, 9 (Amplified Bible)
"You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts [keep them energized and firmly committed to God], because the coming of the Lord is near."
Joel 2:28-31 (Amplified Bible)
“It shall come about after this That I shall pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions...
I will show signs and wonders [displaying My power] in the heavens and on the earth, Blood and fire and columns of smoke.
The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes."
Revelation 11:3 (Amplified Bible)
"And I will grant authority to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days (forty-two months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth.”
The culture of Baal worship in America...
Numbers 25:1-4 (Amplified Bible)
"Israel settled and remained in Shittim, and the people began to play the prostitute with the women of Moab [by being unfaithful to God].
For they invited the Israelites to the sacrifices of their gods, and the Israelites ate [food offered to idols] and bowed down to Moab’s gods.
So Israel joined themselves to Baal of Peor [in worship]. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel.
The Lord said to Moses, 'Take all the leaders of the people [who have committed sin with the Moabites], and execute them in broad daylight before the Lord, so that the fierce anger of the Lord may turn away from Israel.' "
According to google:
"In the Bible, Baal was the primary Canaanite fertility and storm god, worshipped as a rival to Yahweh (the LORD) and often worshipped by Israelites during the Old Testament period. Meaning "lord" or "owner," Baal was believed to control rain, agriculture, and life. His worship, often featuring immoral rites and child sacrifice, was condemned by prophets like Elijah."
Worship Practices:
"Baal worship involved violent and sensual rituals, including temple prostitution and human sacrifice, specifically the burning of children."
Abortion Statistics in America
"In 2022, there were 613,383 reported legal induced abortions in the US, with a rate of 11.2 abortions per 1,000 women aged 15–44, according to the CDC. Despite post-2022 restrictions, 2025 estimates indicate over 1.1 million clinician-provided abortions, driven by a rise in telehealth and out-of-state travel. Most patients are in their 20s (57%), unmarried (87%), and already have children."
Sex crime statistics in America...
"There are approximately 800,000 to 900,000 registered sex offenders in the United States, with some estimates suggesting up to 100,000 may be missing. While not all registered sex offenders are pedophiles, they represent a significant portion of offenders. Key statistics show a high recidivism rate, with one study indicating a typical pedophile may commit 117 sexual crimes."
Registered Offender Data (As of 2025/2026):
"Total Offenders: As of January 2025, there are 802,066 registered sex offenders in the U.S."
Child Sexual Abuse in America
Survivors: There are estimated to be over 42 million survivors of sexual abuse in America.
Victimization Rate: 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused before the age of 18.
Online Threat: Over 500,000 sexual predators are estimated to be active online daily."
The Transgender Agenda
"Youth (Ages 13–17): An estimated 3.3% of U.S. youth—about 724,000 teenagers—identify as transgender, according to 2025 updates from the Williams Institute and CDC data."
"Surgical Data: A review of a national database indicated that approximately 5,700 U.S. minors had some form of "trans surgery" between 2019 and 2023, although other studies suggest that fewer than 0.04% of transgender youth received surgical care."
"Hormone/Blocker Data (2017-2021): Out of those diagnosed, 14,726 patients initiated hormone therapy and 4,780 started puberty-blocking medications."
"Over 200 House Democrats voted against a bill criminalizing transgender care for minors. The measure passed 216-211." https://msft.it/6182tozfQ

Introduced in House (03/07/2023)
Protect Children's Innocence Act
"This bill places restrictions on the provision of gender affirming care. Gender affirming care includes performing surgery, administering medication, or performing other procedures for the purpose of changing the body of an individual to correspond to a sex that differs from the individual's biological sex.
Specifically, the bill makes it a felony to perform any gender affirming care on a minor and it permits a minor on whom such care is performed to bring a civil action against each individual who provided the care.
Additionally, the bill prohibits the use of federal funds for gender affirming care or for health insurance that covers such care. Such care may not be provided in a federal health care facility or by a federal employee. The bill also prohibits qualified health plans from including coverage for gender affirming care. Further, plans that include coverage for such care are not eligible for federal subsidies.
Finally, the bill prohibits institutions of higher education from offering instruction in gender affirming care. It also makes any non-U.S. national (alien under federal law) who performs gender affirming care on a minor deportable and inadmissible to the United States.
The restrictions under this bill do not apply to the provision of care under certain circumstances such as when an individual does not have normal sex chromosome structure, sex steroid hormone production, or sex steroid hormone action."
